The current release is the 2008 vintage wines. The first release was from the 2004 vintage when 100 cases of Shiraz and 50 cases of Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon were produced.

The 2008 release consists of 40 cases of Shiraz and 60 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon/ Shiraz. These handpicked and hand pruned single vineyard wines were made from grapes grown on our vineyard at Gomersal. The wines have been aged in American & French oak barrels for two winters and stored in the old wine cellar on the property.

There are limited quantities of all vintages available for purchase and can be viewed on the order form.

2008 Gomersal Shiraz:

This classic Barossa wine is made from 100% Shiraz grapes grown on our vineyard at Gomersal on the western ridge of the Barossa valley.

Colour: Opaque red-brick, scarlet rim
Aroma: Dense & rich fruit aromas dominate with hints of vanillin oak.
Palate: Rich ripe berry flavours with good acidity. Soft, long tannin structure with medium length.

2008 Gomersal Shiraz/Cabernet:

This wine is made from 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Shiraz grapes grown on our vineyard at Gomersal on the western ridge of the Barossa Valley.

Colour: Deep red colour with a black rim
Aroma: Rich with black fruit flavours held together with good acidity and soft ripe tannins with medium length.

With careful cellaring these wines will continue to develop and be enjoyed for many years.
